Out of our routine

So these past few weeks have been a little rough. Clara has been acting different. She is much more fussy, will not sleep unless I feed her first, and only sleeps a few hours at a time at night. Previously she had been doing so well even sleeping eight hours once! So what happened? Well, I know some of it is my fault I got tired and decided to just feed her instead of letting her cry and cry and trying to walk her around before she slept. So I messed up the routine we had going of eat, activity, sleep. :( THEN just two days ago we found a tooth! Thats right, her first tooth is coming in at four months old! No wonder it has been so rough! So I am going to buckle down and start the routine again tomorrow. Wish me luck! I think she has gotten into the habit of eating before she sleeps and that will be a tough one to break!

A lot has happened these past few weeks. Clara turned four months old on the eighteenth. That day we went to the doctor and had her check up and immunizations. She did great! It was so sad though to see her scream when they stick those needles in her little legs! But as soon as I picked her up and fed her some of her bottle she was okay. I hate to see her in pain it makes me want to cry! But she is a healthy girl! She is 16 pounds and 25 1/4 inches! We have also discovered that she loves being outside. She can be screaming and we will take her outside and she will calm right down. We had some fun little outings too! We took her to the pool with our friends Conner and Laurie. And we also took them to the splash pad in our neighborhood. It was a lot of fun.

Clara is getting so strong she holds her head up 90 degrees when she is on her tummy. But she LOVES to stand! She rarely wants to do anything else! She hardly wobbles or bounces even she is just so strong! I am afraid she is going to be an early walker, just this morning my mom was holding her while she was standing and she started taking steps! She would lift her leg and bend her little knee and step forward! I have not even thought to baby proof our house yet!

That reminds me I need to be more organized! I am thinking I should start making lists so that I have something written down to do that I can check off. If anyone has any suggestions as of how to be more organized I am all ears! I just feel like I don't get anything done.

Oh Clara also started eating solids! She tried some rice cereal and did not take it very well at all. She actually gagged on it! But tonight we tried sweet potatoes and she LOVED them! She practically attacked the spoon! It is so much fun to see her grow! I love her more than I could have ever imagined..even if she does keep me up all night. She is the best thing that could ever happen to our family.
