I am coming down with it....

Okay it is official I've got it, SPRING FEVER!
I am done being stuck inside, and yes I am stuck inside because I refuse to go out in the cold. It is not the same as when I was young. Those days of snowmen, and snowball fights are long gone. It is no longer enjoyable to me, maybe I am a lame-o but it just is not what it used to be. Now it is just plain old cold. That's it, just cold. I will admit that there are moments in the winter that I enjoy, like when the snow has just fallen or it is foggy and the branches of all the trees, and the blades of grass are all white. That really is beautiful. I took these pictures a while ago at one of those moments.

Snow and the cold are also great for Christmas, it just feels more like Christmas ya know?
But other than that I prefer...

SPRING!!!!!!

Spring is wonderful. I can't wait to get out and go on long walks with Clara! That is really what I am looking forward to most! It is so refreshing to be able to get out into the fresh air and not freeze my tail off! And perhaps I am lazy, but I am so much more willing to get out and exercise when I only have to go as far as my backyard to get there instead of plan out a whole outing, including a babysitter just to go to the gym. The gym has not been working out for me so well, it is just too much of a hassle. Anyway, I can just picture Chris and I going jogging with Clara in the jogging stroller. If I go on walks every day and then go jogging I should be able to kick the last of the unwanted pounds. Hopefully Clara loves being outside as much as she did when she was just a few months old. She would be screaming and I could take her outside and WHAM, immediately she calmed down! I could take an hour long walk and she would stay calm the entire time. So I guess only time will tell if she still likes to be outside.

I am burning up dreaming of the mornings when I wake up and can hear the birds singing, the sun is shining, the air is just warm, and you can just smell spring in the air! Oh and the flowers! I LOVE flowers! Everything starts to turn green, beautiful green. I miss the green, I hardly remember what green looks like! But it won't be long, then I will be cured of this sickness.

You are hilarious Brittni! I always get Spring Fever the 2nd week in January! And I'm sure Clara will love being outside even more this year, at least that's what's happened to my boys! Hang in there, it's almost here!
