Clara is now eleven months old! I cannot believe how time passes by so quickly. For a while now every once in a while I will point out to Clara pictures of Christ and say "Jesus". She usually just stares or points, although once I could have sworn she said "broer" just like brother! Anyway, a week ago or so she just started pointing to all the pictures of Christ we have in our home or the pictures of Christ on the walls at church and saying "whata" (like what's that). So about a week ago we were at my parents house hanging out. My mom and I left to go shopping for a little while and when I came back my little sister and Dad informed me that Clara had spotted the picture of Christ on top of their mantle and waved and said "Jesus"! I was so amazed! And ever since then she loves to spot the pictures of Christ and say either "Jesus", or "dada". She is such a smart little thing! Just a few days ago my mom and I were at the store and handed her a pair of little shoes. She said as clear as could be "what is that"! I am not even kidding! My mom and I just looked at each other with our mouths hanging wide open. When we told her they were shoes, she repeated "soos". I have loved every stage of her growth, but I think I would have to say this is my favorite. I love to see her learning and growing every day. It is one of my favorite things in the world to see Clara find Jesus wherever we are. I want nothing more , now and in the future, than for my child to know Jesus.
