Chris and I were married on April 5, 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Chris and I met at a University of Utah fireside.
Being married to Chris is so wonderful. We are so happy together! We have a house out in Herriman and we absolutely love it out there. To be honest, when we first moved out there after we got married we did not really feel like a part of our ward or community. So we were praying that we could feel a part of our ward. The Lord always answers prayers, just not in the way we plan. Just a week or so later Chris and I were boating with his family and I ended up breakin my hip! Wow, that was not what we had planned. But sure enough our ward came together and helped us through it. We got to know them and grew to love them. Isn't it funny how things work out sometimes? Well, I had to have surgery and I was stuck inside laying on a couch 24/7 for the summer. But what a blessing that was for Chris and I. We grew so close to one another. He worked from home so he could take care of me and be there for me all the time. He sure got his service brownie points that summer! And all this was just three months into our marriage. After healing I got a job at L-3 communications. I love it! And Chris started his own company that he has been working on for a few years.
He is so great! He is so professional and good with people..and did I mention smart?! He is so smart. Chris' calling in the church is in the young men's presidency and I am the laurel advisor in the young womens program. We both love our callings and the youth we work with!
Chris is slightly obsessed with soccer. He loves it! He loves to watch it, he loves to play it, and he even loves to read about it! We are very lucky and have season tickets the the professional soccer team here in Salt Lake City (Real Salt Lake). So that is pretty much our lives up to this point. Work, home and soccer. We love it! And I can't wait to keep living every day with Chris.
