Okay so I am finally going to post again!
I thought being able to stay home meant I would have all this extra time to develop new hobbies, clean the house until no end, cook dinner every night, and actually keep up on the blog! I was so wrong. I seem to barely find time to do my hair every day! But I absolutely love being a mom. I have never been happier than I am now spending time with my sweet Clara. Now to be completely honest the first two weeks were terrible! I did not enjoy it at all. I had a terrible rash that spread over my entire body. I was constantly itching..more than I have ever itched in my life! I was not sleeping and instead I was pouring cold water all over my body..and that was when Clara was sleeping. Then just trying to adjust to motherhood. I would say that is enough in itself. And this rash lasted for three weeks and then went away...but just for a week and then it came back! I went to three doctors including a dermatologist and no one knew what it was. AND I could not take anything for it because I am nursing. Oh it was terrible. THEN on top of that Chris and I both got the swine flu at the same time! Thank goodness for my mom or I don't know how we would have done it. But luckily Clara never got sick. I was so grateful for that!!!!
So it has kind of been crazy but things seem to finally be balancing out and I am enjoying motherhood more than I ever could have imagined. Clara is the sweetest little girl! I love her more than life itself, it is a love I could never explain. I love watching her change and she changes every day! She now smiles so much and oh boy is she a talker! She loves to babble. And she is growing so big already! I can't believe she is almost three months old already! She is so plumpy and I love it! I love to squeeze her cute little rolls!
Oh and just a few days ago she found her thumb! Now she loves to suck her thumb! It is so cute..I am just worried it will be a hard habbit to break. And she has this fake little cry that I love. She just wants all the attention and if she does not have it she lets you know. What a little drama queen already. Well there is the cry now, so I will update more later.

Oh, Britt, how crazy things have been! I heard a few weeks ago, after you and Chris were better, that you had gotten the swine flu! How scary.
I'm so glad that you are both better now, and that Clara didn't catch it!
I'm glad you are doing well. I need to come visit you again! I can't imagine how much Clara is growing. :D
Love ya!
