Sleeping..sort of

So thanks to all of you who gave me some advice on what to do to help Clara sleep through the night. It really helped going through it to know that I was not the only one! I ended up letting her cry it out but I would check on her. She cried for almost 45 minutes the first night, it was really hard to let her cry that long. But I went in and gave her her binkey at 5 minutes, ten minutes, and then I was going to go in at twenty minutes but I ended up stopping right before I got to her door because she finally gave up and went to sleep! The next night she only cried for five minutes and then the next night she just whimpered a few times. It was wonderful and I finally got some sleep! BUT then.. all of the sudden she was waking up crying again and would not stop..like for an hour and a half! Oh it was terrible. Well I finally decided to try tylenol because it is very possible that she is teething. Well that did the trick it seems the last few nights have been better. And I looked today and sure enough she has huge bumps where her top front teeth must be coming in. So I am hoping that it is just the teeth and after it is over she will sleep once again!

Well to catch up on the past few weeks here are some pictures.

My sweet cousin Jana had a birthday party for her little girl Evie who is turning one!
She made all of the decorations and she did SUCH a great job it was so cute!
I helped her make the fondant flowers that are on the cupcakes, and my aunt made the cake.. so talented!
Here is Clara loving her Daddy after he got home from work! She lover her Daddy so much! (me too)
And here is Clara cheering for the U. We watched it with our good friends and had so much fun. And here is Chris playing his own game!
And this is Clara's face after they lost.Such a devoted fan! And I such a cute fan too if I do say so myself!:)

hahahaha, that face she pulled in the last picture is priceless. I love it. I'm glad that she's sleeping better, they have this baby stuff that you can rub on thier gums that numbs them a little to help with the pain..those poor babies do so much growing up, it's got to hurt.

{cupcakes are darling}

I've found that drugs cannot be overrated!! Also, my mom always encouraged giving a formula bottle at the night feeding to tide them over. That's another idea.

Hahaha! LOVE the pictures! The one where she is loving Chris is precious. Melted my little heart. haha!
And I am no mother, but I was a nanny to a baby boy, and felt like one. And I too agree with the baby teething orajel. Works like a miracle! And I even found a little rubber finger glove that you can use to put it on, so they don't bite your finger off. Plus it's soothing for them to chew on. LOL!
Man, I am so sad I missed Evie's b-day party. It looked like so much fun! Dang swine flu...
Love you! We still need to get together and eat that salad!

Hey Brittni, I wasn't sure how to let you know, but I got your message about wanting to help me with my photo skillz :) THANK YOU! I would LOVE to take pictures of Clara, and of your family! But just know you're my practice :) I've actually had way more people volunteer to let me butcher them camerically, that my December is pretty much full now! But let's talk for sure; I REALLY WANT TO.

ANYWAYS, send me an email at rebeckygreen@gmail.com to talk about it more, or find me on facebook. Or you can keep leaving me comments :)
