Clara named this post, isn't she so creative? I could have never thought of that title!
She loves to play on the laptop. She actually army crawls quite a ways just to get to it. I can't believe she is eight months old now! She can army crawl, say mama, dada, she claps, and she waves. I am LOVING this age because she is learning so many new things! She is such a fast learner! I wasn't quite ready for her to start moving around by herself. Time to start the baby-proofing!

Here is a picture of our Christmas tree! I am so glad we decided to put one up this year. Chris and I are scrooges somewhat when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Last year we did not do anything to decorate the house. I attribute our lack of excitement to decorate to our first year married. That Chrismas we attempted to put up our tree. Well it was a very old tree and it was completely falling apart. It took FOREVER to put up and I ended up doing it all by myself because Chris got so grumpy trying to do it. And even though we got it up it was just falling apart it was so old. So I think that traumatized us to the experience of putting up a tree. Well we have a different tree this year and it is pre-lit. It is SO much better and it was not hard at all to put up. Thanks to my parents for giving us their old decorations and ornaments for the tree. Clara loves the tree too. She loves to take the ornaments off and play with them. I am just so excited about her first Christmas. Not that I don't love holidays already, but it is just so much better now that we have Clara! I am anxious to see if she will rip open her presents. She has already gotten to them but not ripped them open yet.

This is Clara playing the piano for us. She loved the piano! I thought it was so cute to see her sitting there playing.

And last but not least our annual ugly sweater party! I have done this with Chris ever since we were dating and it is just such a fun tradition. It was even better to dress Clara up with us. Thanks Mike and Katie for hosting in your new beautiful house!

Here are our good friends Krista and Damien. Clara LOVED Krista's sparkly shirt! We all concluded Damien still looked pretty stylish.
And here is Clara in her full ugly sweater getup we borrowed from my cousin's little girl Evie. Thanks Evie for loaning it to us. It is actually not that bad of a sweater but the bottoms are pretty awesome!

I can't believe it is Christmas this week! It totally took me off guard this last week to find out Christmas was so soon! But I think we are all ready and we are planning a few activites this week to get us in the Christmas mood, and to remind us of the real reason for Christmas. How grateful I am for my Savior Jesus Christ. And how wonderful it is that we can celebrate him and try to emulate him this time of year and throughout the whole year long. Merry Christmas!

That is quite the creative title there Clara! How cute! I love your Christmas tree! Our's has only half of our decorations up because the boys like to throw them, so we lost a few this year, but I had to put them up high enough that they couldn't reach them! Oh, and Carter has already ripped open 1 present at our house and 2 and Grandmas! So ours are all hiding until Christmas Eve night!!! Christmas can only get better here on out, especially with cute little Clara!!!
