Clara oh Clara

Clara is just getting so big! In these pictures she is about 18 months old. She had been asking to go outside for several days so I decided that I should probably take her out because soon we would have Liam and then I couldn't really go outside with her. I was a little hesitant because I just don't like the cold, but she did not mind one bit. She had so much fun! She had a blast playing in all of the leaves, which she calls trees, and just running free. I think being cooped up in the house all winter is going to be a major challenge for her.

Some updates with Clara

*She now knows almost all of her colors, well the normal colors. But her favorite by far is pink.

* Since her favorite color is pink, that is naturally all she wants to wear. The first thing she asks for when she wakes up is a pink shirt. I am running out of pink shirts!

*She LOVES to sing. One of my favorite things right now is listening to her sing. She likes all sorts of music. Her favorite is 'Wheels on the Bus'. We probably sing it 20 times a day. She does all the actions and even sings a lot of the words! It is so adorable. She also likes to sing to the radio. It is the funniest thing to hear her sing along to hip hop songs. It amazes me to see how much she picks up on things. She knows so many songs on the radio and sings the last word in the line or sentence. Chris and I crack up every time. I REALLY need to get it on video before this phase passes.

*She still does not sleep through the night!

*She also loves to dance, any time she hears music she starts shakin' her thing! She has the cutest little wiggle!

*She talks VERY well and can communicate with us quite well.

*She now says her name and talks about herself in third person.

*She babbles on and on to herself or to us and we can usually only pick out a word or two. She just goes off into her own little world.

*She is getting better and better at playing by herself.
