Christmas 2011

 Liam was, and still is, into everything! He is constantly taking out spatula's etc. from the drawers in the kitchen.

 This was Clara right after she woke up from a nap and she asked me to take a picture of her. How could I refuse!?

 Clara was so excited to visit Santa, Liam not so much.

 Liam watched him like a hawk the entire time. He at least stopped crying.

 For some reason Clara just started folding her arms in pictures.

 My two angels in their new Christmas outfit.

 We changed the tree decor on the tree because I wanted it a bit more colorful and fun.

 So this year we adopted an "elf on the shelf". He watched the kids and would report back to us and to Santa if they were naughty or nice. His name is Alfie. Alfie was the biggest help during the Christmas season. I had a very obedient girl! I miss Alfie being around... Anyway,  we had written Santa and Alfie a letter on Christmas Eve. We woke up to an  answer from Santa, and an unwrapped present that Alfie had played with! Clara's eyes went huge and she looked so confused to think that Alfie opened one of her presents. It was so funny!

 Clara had asked for a Tangled barbie so when she found out that Santa had brought her 6 other princess barbies as well!

 She also wanted a shopping cart. Funny story: We put the cart together and she started to push it around, within 1 minute it started to fall apart. But she didn't seem to care, she packed it full of stuff and it just kept falling out the back. Chris and I were trying our very best not to bust up laughing, we were not very successful. I ended up buying zip ties and now it works just fine!

  

 (Here is the picture of her cart packed full of everything. It was hilarious to watch her push it and have everything fall out the back. She would just pick it up like it was no big deal.)

After we finished at our house and went to church it was time to go to grandparents houses. First we went to Chris' parents.

Clara folding her arms in front of her mountain of presents. They got more at Gaga and Papa's house than they did at our house!

 My grandma is absolutely amazing and painted us a picture of Liam and I. She is so talented and I am so grateful that she is willing to put so much time and effort into this priceless gift!

 For some reason my children love to be naked. Here they are playing together on the new train.

We had a great Christmas. It was so much fun to watch the kids enjoy it so much!
