Randomness April 2012

I just have to write down a few random, funny things before I forget them. I am so behind in blogging but if I don't post them now I won't remember what it was I wanted to write down. Clara is at that age now (She JUST turned 3) that she says the funniest/cutest things. On her birthday she got an Ariel mermaid barbie. This said barbie wears the trademark seashells. Clara for some reason calls bikini's "up down" swimsuits. So she told me "Ariel is not modest yet because she doesn't have the gospel yet". Haha! Oh I laughed so hard. I have been trying to teach her that being modest is important. For our 5th wedding anniversary we took them downtown with us one of the nights and went swimming in the hotel pool. While we were swimming a girl in a bikini came to the pool, Clara asked me why she was wearing an up down swimsuit, I think I told her something to the effect of her not having the gospel like we do, so maybe she didn't know that she should be modest. Oh the things they take in! She also told me today and on a few other occasions "I am going to marry Daddy when I get really big", or "Daddy wants to marry me when I get really big", or the latest, "I am going to marry someone better than Daddy". I need to explain that one. I told her she should find a boy like Daddy to marry because he is the best. Then Chris told her she should marry someone better. She is such a sweet girl and she is growing up so fast. She is now 93% in height and 90% in weight. It is funny because most people don't believe she is only just turning 3 because of her size, but also because she doesn't act like she is just 3. She even plays with the older kids. Funny girl.

Liam is now almost 17 months old! He is starting to talk so much more. HE LOVES the dirt and being outside. One of the first things he says when he wakes up is "ouside?" (Outside). But, there is no containing him. He likes to climb under the fence and wander. Oh how he wanders. I just took them to the park yesterday and he just wandered, he would just go up to anyone and look at them and start talking to them. Although it is super cute, it worries me! He also loves his "Rara"(Clara). When he wakes up he asks for her, when he sees her he gets so excited and starts saying "rara, rara" over and over. I love it! He also loves water and bubbles. He must associate the two with each other because if he sees water he says "bubble"! Also, he almost never walks, (except when he is wandering, then he just walks with both of his arms to his side), he just runs. He has the cutest little bouncy run, it is mostly on his toes, and he is quick! He is usually surprising me every day with new words or things I never knew that he knew! Sometimes I feel so bad that I don't have as much time or energy to sit with him and teach him like I did Clara. But he just picks it right up! Besides, he is SO different from Clara. Clara used to love to sit and read books and learn. When I try to read a book to Liam he just hits it and tries to throw it. Silly boy. He is also in a hitting phase with everything! Oh and screaming, he has the highest pitch, loud scream! I find it funny because he is either hitting or hugging..no in between. So we are working on that. I think the last time we went to the doctor he was 75% in height, and he went up to 30%in weight. He is going to be like his dad I think and be little until high school. I think Clara will be like me and always be the tallest. We shall see!

I love watching  my two wonderful angels grow up and develop their personalities. They are both strong willed, and a little wild. It should be interesting! But they are also both very sweet, smart, and silly. I couldn't ask for better kids!

Life is super busy and hectic with Chris' job, starting school, and both of our church callings, as well as two very wild and busy children who rely on my so much. But life is good. We go to Mexico with the kids and our good friends in just over a month!
