Ah Sweet...and sour success!

We did it! My mom and I bottled our sweet and sour sauce! It turned out SO delicious! It is so good that we are going to do another batch. It was actually a lot of fun and I feel so accomplished! We now have a little bit of food storage. I have been wanting to get food storage for a long time and I have wanted to learn how to bottle, but just never did it. I am so glad I finally took the initiative and learned how. The only part I didn't like was cutting the onions..I could not even see what I was doing my eyes were so blurred by all the tears!

Grandma Lettie (a.k.a my mom) went on a shopping spree for Clara. Now she has a few fall/winter clothes. Here she is with my sister Morgan modeling one of her new outfits! Grandma already spoils her! ;)

I finally got a good picture of her two little teeth! Aren't they so cute? She had her first two teeth by four and a half months.

I just thought this picture was so cute! Look at those cheeks! Don't you just want to squeeze them?Clara is five months old now and sits up by herself! She is a VERY observant baby. She has been ever since she was just a tiny little newborn. We (my mom and I) have decided she is not a super happy go lucky baby who laughs and smiles at everything, but instead has to think about things first. She loves to look around at people and things. She HAS to be facing outward when you hold her. And she loves to be outside. She can be super fussy and I will take her outside and she stops immediately and just looks around. She really is a very happy baby, and she smiles all the time but she still does not laugh. I think she just squeals/screams instead of laughing. She will squeal so loud and high that nothing will come out sometimes. It is so funny to watch her. She makes me laugh so many times in just one day. She is my joy!! I love her!!!!
