Day four we all got up early and headed to the other side of the island to go snorkeling. Chris and I snorkeled in Mexico and it was amazing so we knew we wanted to do it again.
Here we are on the boat ready to go.
Chris wanted me to help him put sunscreen on. Some older tourists on the boat thought it was pretty funny and then did the same thing to their husbands too.
It took a while to get out there. It ended up being a pretty breezy day so the ride was pretty choppy. A ton of people ended up getting sick. I felt bad for them. Then we arrived at the Molokini Crater (Above). It is supposed to be one of the top places to snorkel. They anchored us down and started explaining what we needed to do. As soon as we were standing still in the choppy water I started feeling pretty sick. But I decided that I would get in the water and hope it would go away once I was in the water.
This was about all we saw to be honest. There were a bunch of these black fish.
This picture makes me laugh because Chris and I both look a little strange.
We did see a sea urchin. And a few of our friends in the group went scuba diving and got poked by the urchin.
I hoped being in the water would help the movement of the water not feel so choppy. No such luck. It was actually worse. Even in the water we were going up and down so much. And it was so choppy that waves kept coming over my snorkel. So after about ten minutes in the water I was done. I felt so sick. So I went up on the boat and some of the girls were awesome and helped get me a special ginger drink and some dramamine. I finally felt good enough to even sit up so I decided to go on the front of the boat where I heard it was a little bit better. I still just had to concentrate so I would not throw up.
Chris offered to come sit with me but I didn't want him to miss out. So here is is in the water.
After he was done snorkeling he came up to the front of the boat to sit by me. I thought maybe eating a little bit of the lunch they provided might help me feel a little better but as soon as I took a bite I about lost it and had to spit it right out. ANYWAY, it wasn't so great. Oh, and while I was trying not to lose it there were people throwing up off the sides every few minutes. That didn't help. One guy was amazingly loud. I thought maybe he lost his stomach or lungs in the ocean. Chris thought it was funny. I didn't really feel the same.
There was one more stop called turtle town. Chris decided to stay one the boat with me. I did get to see a big sea turtle from the boat so that was neat. But I REALLY just wanted to get back to shore. FINALLY we started the ride back. Actually moving on the boat helped so much. I started to feel better and better.
The ride back was a little cool and windy. Deboro and Alana had their new baby Scarlett (who is the most adorable, and beautiful baby), so here they are trying to protect her from the wind.
Left row from the back- Shelby, Alana, Deboro, Kesha, Nick. Right row from the back- Shane, Kate, Andy, Michelle, Brittni, Chris, Enoch, and Christina. Such a fun group!
Here we are on the way back. I know, my hair is amazing.
After snorkeling we decided to spend the day at a bunch of little shops in Lahina just off the beach. It is such a charming little place.
This was the best picture of the view we had driving into our resort. It was so much prettier in real life.
After that we decided to head back to the resort to get ready for the Luau.
We thought the Luau started later so we got there a little late, but it ended up being fine. This was the view. Once again, SO beautiful!
Once again I am such a dork and I stepped away from the table to take pictures. But it was well worth it!
Here we are after the Luau ended. Chris got some sun. :)
Here is me and my good friend Laurie, we have known each other for a few years and our husbands just keep following each other to different companies. She is one of my closest friends so I was so excited that they would be in Hawaii as well!
After the Luau we took a stroll through the resort. This was the best picture we could get at night of the awesome trees on the resort, and with the lighting at night it was stunning! Too bad I couldn't capture it.
Laurie and I
Below are our husbands having a contest to see who could hold their breath the longest. Then they proceeded to play in the pool having contests to see how far they could glide underwater etc. It was fun to watch our husbands have fun together and act like little boys. We just laughed at them. So although it was a rough start to the day for me it ended up being another good day.

Oh, those pictures bring back memories! You guys went to a lot of the same places we did! We rented a boat and went diving at the crater! Tons of fish! Sorry you got sick.
