Clara absolutely loves doing anything crafty, coloring, painting etc. But painting is for sure her favorite thing. So During General Conference we decided to have her paint a mural to keep her busy, that way we could listen. It worked wonderfully! I also decided she should do it on the tile with no clothes on so that nothing would be ruined. She had so much fun. She was so cute concentrating so hard. I think if we didn't stop her she could have kept going for hours more. We put the mural on the wall downstairs, she was so proud!
The only challenge with the painting was trying to keep Liam otherwise entertained.
Luckily he is such a happy boy it wasn't too hard.
Later in October we met our good friends Laurie and her adorable boy Conner and new baby Kate at Wheeler Farm.

Liam was just happy to be there.
They were having a staring contest..I think Clara won.
Clara loves when it rains, just like me. But she likes it because she wants to go out and play in it with an umbrella. As long as there is no lightning I let her go out and play.

I also made Clara's wig for her costume, she couldn't wait to wear it..literally. So here she is munching on wheat thins and watching tangled. I love her crossed legs!
Clara's new found love is lipstick. Looking back, I think this is when it all started. She found some in all my makeup and came down like this. :) I swear now she has a lipstick radar, it doesn't matter where I put it she will find it.
Clara also LOVES to read and be read to. So Daddy tries to read to her often. It is one of my favorite things to watch.
Chris was being so silly and making up his own words. They both thought it was hilarious, which I thought was so funny and so cute.
Random note: (hopefully I haven't already said this)
Clara loves to pretend to sleep for Chris. If we are driving home she stays awake until we get to our neighborhood then she will close her eyes and pretend to sleep so that Daddy will carry her up to her bed. Chris and I love it.

In addition to reading books he also loves eating books!
A while before Halloween we went over to Jana and Jens' house to have Clara and Evie frost some Halloween cookies.

Clara and Evie both love Liam so much. Evie actually said she wants to take Liam as her little brother. Nobody else. Luckily Jana told her it isn't very nice to take brothers away. We would like to keep him in our family:)

And brand new baby Tayley. Clara was so happy. She now pretends her dolls are Tayley. I can't even express how much I love my family!!!!

Cute kids - love all your pictures! I love the mural idea ... I wish Boston was into painting and coloring! It is such a chore for him to pick up paints, crayons, or anything of the sort.
