Hawaii Day 5

 

 Day 5 the guys had a team breakfast so a few of the girls met for breakfast at the Mala Restaurant at the resort. They had delicious breakfast! From the left, Michele, Brittni, Kate.

 

 We decided to take Day 5 pretty easy. We went with some of the crew to try and find a beach in Lahaina. But because it was Memorial Day all of the beaches were packed with Locals. So we ended up going to the Shops at Lahaina and we found a beach right off the shops. It wasn't ideal for boogie boarding so instead we played Volleyball. At first it was just the guys then a few of us girls decided to jump in the game.

After volleyball we were all pretty hungry so we stopped to eat at Lahaina Pizza Company.

After lunch we decided to all go our own ways. Chris and I stayed to shop for a while. But.....

 Not before stopping at Ululani's for a Hawaiian shaved ice. It is the best shaved ice ever! We stopped at this place at least three times while in Hawaii.

 Then we shopped for a few hours. It was a lot of fun. I got some pretty jewelry and a nice dress (Below). I got the dress because we had another company dinner and I had run out of clothes. (I packed everything in a carry on). SO it was a good excuse to get a dress in Hawaii!

 There was a beautiful rainbow on the way home. This was the best shot of it  I could get while driving.

When we got back to the resort we quickly got ready and headed off to Tommy Bahama's for Dinner. We all met in the lobby and walked since it was so close.  While waiting in the lobby before dinner I was able to catch a few pictures of yet another spectacular sunset.

 Here we are at dinner. The food here was much better than the first dinner and we had  great time with friends. I also enjoyed seeing Chris' boss with a little alcohol in him. ;)

After dinner we stuck around for a bit and just walked around the mall that Tommy Bahamas was in. Then we headed back to hang out at the hot tub again.

I had a little too much fun with my waterproof camera. After a while Chris actually started to fall asleep in the hot tub so I figured it was time to head back to the room.

 And that was Day 5!
